    If you, your family or a friend wants to know more about a prisoner, you can write to the Minister for Corrective Services or the Commissioner, Corrective Services. It is important to get prisoner consent before you proceed.

  • The Western Australian Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages (RBDM) can provide certificates of births, deaths and marriages that occurred in Western Australia since 1 September 1841 and change of names that occurred from 31 January 1957.

    Certificates are only available if the birth, death, marriage or change of name has already been registered in Western Australia. Information about registering a new birth, death, marriage or change of name can be viewed at WA.gov.au.
