The meaningful involvement of people with disability, their families and carers is essential to the work of the Disability Division at the Department of Communities and in particular to have a say how the National Disability Insurance Scheme operates in Western Australia.
This expression of interest is for the NDIS WA Community Advisory Council, including a Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, and members drawn from the disability community. Membership will be for a three year term.
Who can apply? Community representatives from the sector, advocacy and lived experience groups and academic institutions leading research and data collection work on people with disability and their experience with the NDIS.
