• Information for Applicants 
    • Applications from community groups wishing to be considered for the proceeds of the 2027 Gala Day need to be submitted by 30 June 2026.

      Any application received after the closing date will not be considered, however the application may be held over for CEAG’s consideration the following year.

    • All applicants must apply the following criteria prior to completing their application:

      1. Applicants must be a not for profit organisation or charity that delivers community services to Western Australians.
      2. Applicants must be an incorporated body.
      3. Applicants must have a valid Australian Business Number (ABN).
      4. Applicants will be required to present an overview of their services to Community Engagement and Advisory Group (CEAG) at its August meeting.
      5. The successful applicant will be required to attend Boronia’s end of year event at which the Gala Day beneficiary for the following year will be announced.
      6. At a minimum one representative of the beneficiary organisation will be required to attend Gala Day. It is however highly desirable for more representatives to attend the event which is held on the first Saturday in November between 10.00am and 2.00pm.
      7. The successful applicant will be required to assist with the promotion of Gala Day in the lead up to the event.
      8. The successful applicant will be required to attend a formal cheque presentation event to receive the proceeds of Gala Day.
      9. The Gala Day beneficiary will be required to provide a brief report on expenditure of the Gala Day proceeds to the CEAG.
