Important requirements

The identity and relationship to the Prisoner must be verified before money can be accepted on the Prisoner's behalf. This can be done through the process of Visiting a Prisoner.

Note: the maximum balance permitted in a Prisoner's deposit account are:
- Prisoner's Private Cash Account (PPCA) - $200
- Prisoner's Telephone Account (PTS) - $100

You will need to complete the Declaration form (Adult Custodial Rule 7 – Appendix 4) and provide the appropriate identification for a Prison Officer at the Front Gate to sight.

Verification of identification at the Front Gate can be undertaken at the following times:
- Monday to Sunday 8.15 am to 12.00 pm and 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm
Once your identity has been verified you will be able to deposit money into a Prisoners Private Cash Account.
