The aim of work camps is to successfully reintegrate prisoners into society through reparation to the community. The Department of Justice is grateful for the ongoing support and enthusiasm from participating community sponsors.

The Department welcomes, and relies on, feedback from the participating communities to ensure the work camp is operating effectively. It also allows the Department to demonstrate the outcomes the work camp has achieved to the hosting community.
